Village feature – Adventure, Corentyne

I read 3 singles to Adventure ...

and it was not located in Corentyne !

                                   

This book starts out promisingly, with four men in a bar in Georgetown :

"Well sir," he began, in his incredibly cultured voice,

"I think you'd do well if you went to Adventure."

"Where?" asked Bob and I in unison.

"Adventure, sir," he stabbed at the map,

"it's a small village just here, near the mouth of the Essequibo."

I looked at Smith.

"We're going to Adventure," I said firmly.

"I must go to a place with a name like that."

usual start by men from gt...promisingly....only to disappoint,  I am told!!  ::rofl:: ::rofl::

like Columbus, the GT chaps headed in the wrong direction!!!!  they went north instead of South!!  How de ass can the find the real adventure??
