Instead Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday told the nation it was her constant battle with diabetes and hypertension that led to her brief hospitalisation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados on Monday.

She told journalists that she had failed to follow her medication routine while attending a Caricom leaders meeting and a Caricom-Mexico summit in Barbados.

man the whole world have diabetes.

everybody busy counting deh ldl's and triglycerides deh forget about sugar, unsaturated fats andgeneral americanised foods.

when deh eat cornships fried in hydrollgized oils, in fancy packages in port of spain, deh amy be able to smell new york in deh minds, even taste it.

deh might even be able to smell the antispetic floors and walls of the hospital stay coming up..if deh smell hard enuff.

and if deh help in differentiating deh good from deh bad cholesterol we cyan always send den ketchim and nargis to help.
