Actually my favourite food is also dhall and rice with bunjal crecketeeh , just like snails here, .Sometimes the creketeeh is old and hard to chew but not to worry , prior to cookin you pound it with a carpenter hammer a few times to tenderise it .. delicacy in Berbice

Here in Berbice , it is sometimes referred to as fish and sometimes patwa and to eat it raw ... well to each his own I suppose
