Attorney-at-law and Alliance for Change Leader, Nigel Hughes, this morning confirmed that he met with sanctioned Guyanese businessmen Nazar and Azruddin Mohamed at his law office. He said fellow Attorney and AFC General Secretary, Raphael Trotman also attended the meeting.
According to a brief statement on his Facebook page, Mr. Hughes said the meeting was requested by the the Mohameds to address legal issues.
He said “the discussion included addressing legal obstacles which the team was encountering in its philanthropic work”, adding that Trotman attended the meeting to provide political and professional advice to him (Hughes).
The Attorney stated that his law office Office is seeking its own independent advice on whether legal services can be provided to the Mohameds.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
