Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago will soon experiment with the setting up of a ferry service between the two countries to transport people and cargo.
The announcement was made yesterday by President Irfaan Ali during a press conference hosted at State House with Trinidad’s Prime Minister Keith Rowley on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed for co-operation in a number of areas.

Excellent idea, this would suit folk who: Are frightened of flying, are in no rush to get to their destination, who want to bring a car, also think of the tourist aspect if good quality modern ships/boats are used?! It would also be much cheaper than the extortionate Air fares being charged.
There should have been a good quality ferry linking Guyana with the Islands years ago, PRESIDENT, LET’S GET GOING ON THIS!
