COVID-19 is increasing multiple kinds of inequality. Here’s what we can do about it
There are at least four ways the COVID-19 pandemic is increasing inequality:
First, higher-paid workers are working from home while lower-paid blue-collar workers typically do not have this option.
Second, a higher share of low-paid workers are in essential services such as nursing, policing, teaching, cleaning, refuse removal, and store attendants where they are more likely to come into contact with people who are infected.
Third, lower paid workers are more represented in the sectors that have suspended activities such as hotels, restaurants and tourism services.
Fourth, the pandemic is increasing poverty and inequality between richer countries that can afford to bail out their firms and provide social safety nets, and poorer countries that do not have the capacity to do so.

Federal Judges are Failing Incarcerated People During the Pandemic
The philosophy behind our legal system is that adversaries — usually lawyers — present evidence to a judge or jury, engage in vigorous advocacy, and the truth should win out. Even in ordinary times, this is a myth for most people accused of crimes: Public defenders are given vastly fewer resources than law enforcement and prosecutors, and the overwhelming majority of criminal cases are resolved by plea bargaining instead of trial (often to avoid the additional prison time that comes with exercising trial rights). When people do demand their day in court, decades of “tough on crime” rhetoric have manifested in juries and judges who view arrested people — particularly Black and Brown people — as presumptively guilty instead of innocent.
Unfortunately, in the COVID-19 context, judges continue to favor the demonstrably untrue accounts of jail officials over those of incarcerated people who testify at great personal risk. For example, in Memphis, Tennessee, the chief jailer testified under oath that the jail was following a policy of not returning a COVID-positive person to the general population until they had twice tested negative for COVID-19. He even said that failure to do so would create a high risk of transmission. However, his staff and colleagues had never implemented this testing policy and routinely moved COVID patients back into the general population without testing.

Fully-Vaxxed Jesse Jackson Hospitalized With Covid
Double-jabbed activist Jesse Jackson has been hospitalized in Chicago along with his wife after testing positive for covid-19.
From Fox News, "Rev. Jesse Jackson, wife Jacqueline hospitalized for COVID":
Jesse Jackson, 79, is vaccinated against the virus and received his first dose in January during a publicized event as he urged others to receive the inoculation as soon as possible. He and his wife, 77, are being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
"Doctors are currently monitoring the condition of both," according to the statement from Jesse Jackson's nonprofit, the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition.
"There are no further updates at this time," the statement said. "We will provide updates as they become available."
Jackson took his first shot of Pfizers' experimental mRNA injection on January 8th and had his followers repeat after him, "Take the vaccination, now!"

Perfect clash between the peoples interest and a traitor. Jesse Jackson! of all people is a vaccination salesman!!!
Incredible! who would have thought that this man who of all people should know the heart of the white capitalist more than anyone else! yet there was/and is! advocating for the very development that threatens all ordinary people the world over most! threatens the entire human species indeed!
and Jackson was in on the bandwagon from the earliest, all the way back when the vaccines first came out he took it and was urging the people o go take the vaccines. what this meant and means is that Jackson was always a Tom! in collaboration with the Devil Itself!
who cant be trusted

MORE CLASHING!
Forty-one million people lost their jobs in 2020 as the pandemic ravaged the U.S. economy, the most layoffs in at least two decades. But CEOs had a pretty good year. A great one, in fact.
CEOs at the largest publicly traded companies earned, on average, 351 times as much as the typical worker in their industry, according to a new analysis by the left-leaning Economic Policy Institute. That’s the largest gap since the stock market bubble peaked in 2000.
Those executives also got a handsome pay raise: 18.9% on average. Meanwhile, the typical worker (who didn’t get laid off) saw only a 3.9% increase in wages.
The pay gap between top executives and their employees has been widening since the 1980s, when CEOs made about 45 times as much as the median worker.
“The escalation of CEO compensation, and of executive compensation more generally, has fueled the growth of top 1% and top 0.1% incomes, generating widespread inequality,” wrote economists Lawrence Mishel and Jori Kandra, who authored the study.
Chief executives at America’s largest companies don’t get paid the way the average worker does. Beyond a set salary, their compensation packages include other forms of income, such as bonuses, company stock options and long-term incentive payouts, which can vary based on performance and the status of the stock market.

AND THESE FIGURES ARE SANITIZED FIGURES

How Many Have Died From COVID Vaccines?
Each year, more than 165 million Americans get the flu shot. There were 85 reported deaths following influenza vaccination in 2017; 119 deaths in 2018; and 203 deaths in 2019
Between mid-December 2020 and April 23, 2021, at which point between 95 million and 100 million Americans had received their COVID-19 shots, there were 3,544 reported deaths following COVID vaccination, or about 30 per day
In just four months, the COVID-19 vaccines have killed more people than all available vaccines combined from mid-1997 until the end of 2013 — a period of 15.5 years
As of April 23, 2021, VAERS had also received 12,618 reports of serious adverse events. In total, 118,902 adverse event reports had been filed
In the European Union, the EudraVigilance system had as of April 17, 2021, received 330,218 injury reports after vaccination with one of the four available COVID vaccines, including 7,766 deaths
Update: July 16, 2021. 11,000 Americans Dead, 48,000 Seriously Injured as of July 9. The death toll averaged nearly 100 persons per day for the period from April 23 until July 9, 2021. wordpress.com/post/undercurrents723949620.wordpress.com/2113
In a May 5, 2021, Fox News report, Tucker Carlson asked the question no one is really allowed to ask: “How many Americans have died after taking the COVID vaccine?”1
If you haven’t paid attention, the answer to this verboten (forbidden) question may shock you. Carlson points out (inaccurately, if you ask me) that vaccines have been shown to be generally safe, citing statistics on how many Americans have died after the seasonal influenza vaccine in recent years.
Each year, more than 165 million Americans get the flu shot, and according to the U.S. vaccine adverse event reporting system (VAERS), there were 85 reported deaths following influenza vaccination in 2017; 119 deaths in 2018; and 203 deaths in 2019. “How do those rates compare to the death rates from the coronavirus vaccine?” Carlson asks. The answer is, there’s really no comparison.
