Is the Western Hemisphere Hurling Towards a ‘Covid Civil War’?

Vaccine passports in major cities will be viewed as an abuse of political power for ulterior motives, Robert Bridge writes.
Apartheid conditions are being created in Western countries between the vaccinated and ‘anti-vaxxers.’ And with the introduction of vaccine passports, which could theoretically deny the unvaccinated the most basic and essential services, things could get ugly very fast.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. What began as “15 days to flatten the curve,” and then as a voluntary vaccination program, is now steamrolling into a form of government overreach as the simple things people took for granted – visiting a restaurant, going to a theater and riding the train – will soon require a mandatory vaccine passport. Will citizens quietly accept these unprecedented measures without a fight? Thus far it does not look promising.
While the average consumer of mainstream media news rarely hears about them, massive anti-vaccine and lockdown protests, with crowd sizes not seen since the days leading up to the Iraq War of 2003, have been rocking all parts of the Western world. Last week, for example, thousands ignored Germany’s ban on anti-Covid measures and took to the street in mass protest. One protester reportedly died after breaking through a police barricade. Several police officers were injured in the melee that led to the arrest of 600 demonstrators. And as governments begin their rollout of health passes amid broad skepticism over the safety of the Covid vaccines, the resistance promises to escalate.

U.S. and Allies Ramp Up Reckless Provocations Towards China
www.strategic-culture.org/news/2021/08/0...tions-towards-china/
Washington’s global ambitions are predicated totally on an adversarial agenda.
The United States and its allies are on an ever-quickening collision course with China that runs the risk of inciting an all-out war. These reckless, unrelenting provocations are arguably bordering on criminal aggression.
This week saw Washington announcing a $750 million weapons sale to Taiwan, the island territory which is recognized internationally as an integral part of the People’s Republic of China since the victory of the 1949 civil war. As Beijing angrily remarked in reaction, the proposed arms deal blatantly undermines China’s sovereignty and national security. It also seems a calculated move to destabilize the region. The supply of American weaponry to Taiwan – the first such deal under the Biden administration – will likely embolden separatist factions on the island to declare independence from China. In that event, Beijing has warned that it will militarily invade the territory and reclaim authority. That would inevitably throw China and the United States into direct conflict since the latter has made controversial declarations to “defend Taiwan”.

French cafés sit EMPTY as police RAID outdoor diners, after Macron extends vaccine pass to restaurants
alethonews.com/2021/08/09/french-cafes-s...pass-to-restaurants/
RT | August 9, 2021
Police in France have begun enforcing the vaccination pass mandate to enter cafés and restaurants, leading to many of their tables being empty during the usually busy lunchtime, as the French lunched on public benches instead.
On Monday, President Emmanuel Macron’s government extended the controversial ‘pass sanitaire’ requirement to dining venues, even outdoor ones, disregarding the weekend of mass protests that drew at least 250,000 people onto the streets across France.
A video doing the rounds on social media, shot by a Reuters photographer, showed French police checking diners’ papers. Those without the pass face a €135 *($158) fine, which increases to €9,000 ($10,560) for a repeat offense.
By lunchtime, many sidewalk cafés were sitting completely empty as their regular customers chose instead to sit on public benches outside – according to a multitude of photos and comments posted on social media, anyway.
Another video showed outdoor venues with few diners on the Champs Élysées, Paris’ main thoroughfare.
There were photos of empty tables right across the city at times when such places would ordinarily be full.
The famous Grande Brasserie, near the Bastille square, had a few customers inside, but no one out on its patio. One Twitter user speculated that the outdoor seating areas were empty as the result of some kind of nationwide boycott of the health pass.
The pass, introduced by Macron to compel vaccinations against Covid-19, has been mandatory for entrance to museums, movie theaters, swimming pools, and other venues since July 21. The courts have also ruled that it was constitutional to mandate vaccinations for healthcare workers, some of whom have gone on strike in protest.
Facing a rising number of Covid-19 cases attributed to the Delta variant of the virus, the French authorities have pressed hard to vaccinate everyone. Meanwhile, vaccine makers Pfizer and Moderna have drastically increased the price of their vaccines in the European Union.

Israel must choose between civil war or regional war : Senior Lebanese Analyst
Editorial Comment from The Saker Blog for updated information only: Since this interview took place, and just this past weekend, there are changes in the Israeli government. Despite these changes, the comments from senior Lebanese political analyst Nasser Qandil hold true to the situation in the main, and the change in the Israeli government does not negate Mr. Qandil’s commentary. In short, these changes are: Right-wing nationalist Naftali Bennett has been sworn in as prime minister, leading a coalition “government of change” that was approved with a razor-thin one-vote majority and in a power-sharing deal with the centrist Yesh Atid under the leadership of Yair Lapid. Mr. Netanyahu will remain head of the right-wing Likud party and will become the leader of the opposition.

Just a Few Days ago I was hanging out with a few friends, all fully vaccinated. One of my friend (with other underlying conditions) had to do his Antigen Test to return to the USA only to find out that he is positive for Covid. This person had no severe symptoms other than a common cough. I immediately quarantine myself (not being able to see my children was the worst part of this). I did an antigen and a PCR test which both came back Negative . I did this just to ensure everyone around me is protected.
Points to Note here
- My friend is an ageable person with underlying conditions. I suspect because he is fully vaccinated with Pfizer the virus was just mild, hence him not reflecting much symptoms.
- There were other Fully Vaccinated persons around him who were all tested Negative also
- Myself who is also fully vaccinated with Sputnik, was not affected although I was in very close proximity of him for long periods.
- Vaccines do not prevent Covid but it reduces the deadly effect of it
My concerns are:
what if I was not vaccinated?
what if he was not vaccinated?
What could have possible happened to people around him who are not vaccinated?
My Friends we all know that nobody can force you to be vaccinated, however there is nothing to lose. Get Vaccinated. If you are not comfortable with a vaccine which is not WHO approved there are others to choose from. Ask yourself why Presidents, politicians, doctors etc. are vaccinated
By the way my friend is in Quarantine and is not worried too much because he is fully vaccinated and he is not even having any symptoms. Just imagine if he was not vaccinated, he probably would have been in the ICU by now.

A little more than 1.1 million people in Arkansas are fully vaccinated, or about 37.6 percent of the population, according to a rolling count by NBC News on Monday.
That is lower than neighboring states such as Texas (44.5 percent), Oklahoma (40.
, Missouri (42.1) and Tennessee (39.6).

The new Los Angeles Lakers squad is old.
Very old.
Six of the 17 players currently on their roster are 35 years or older, including LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony — who was officially introduced on Monday after he signed a one-year deal with the organization. Only four players are under 25, too.
Six different teams last season had an average age of less than 24. The Lakers currently hover around 31.
