Have you been told quite often that you snore a lot? If so you may want to check out a sleep specialist. Usually such 'snoring' is not snoring at all but the body gasping for breath as a result of sleep apnea, which is a condition whereby you cease to breathe many micro seconds during the course of a minute and so the in gasping to breather the snoring sound results. This condition is rather dangerous because it can lead to heart attacks. I have often read/heard about people dying in their sleep as a result of heart attacks and I'm almost certain that those people either had sleep apnea and ignored it or did not not know. Sleep apnea is also one of the triggers for type II diabetes, stroke, abnormal heartbeats, high blood pressure, unexplained fatigue and mood swings. Other sufferers might wake up with a dry mouth, since sleep apnea tends to make you breathe with an open mouth, drying out your saliva. Some awaken with a headache, which may be caused by low oxygen or high carbon dioxide levels during sleep. Obesity is linked to sleep apnea. It cannot be cured but there is treatment that allows you to sleep normally. I was aware of my sleep apnea years ago but refused to act and today I suffer from most of those conditions mentioned above. So I strongly urge you to get a diagnosis if you snore a lot!
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
