They used Eslyn David to go to court. Now the court says they must pay millions. Is David being asked to pay. Poor David does not have a penny to pay. Are they going to betray her and abandon her? APNU/AFC cannot be trusted.

Charles Ramson Jr. is expected to be sworn in as Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport on Wednesday afternoon.
Ramson, 36, was the one who initially announced he wanted to be Presidential Candidate of the PPP but was reprimanded for not following party rules.
He recently graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland with a Masters of Science degree in Oil and Gas engineering.
He previously graduated with a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School, University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago and LL.B (Hons.) Law from the University of Buckingham, Buckingham, England, United Kingdom.

Zulfikar Mustapha, 50, former chairman of Region Six, is expected to be sworn in as Minister of Agriculture on Wednesday afternoon.
He served as Region Six Chairman for five years and worked with the Guyana Agricultural and General Workers Union (GAWU) as assistant General Secretary.
Over the years, he has visited and interacted with farmers from across the country.
He holds a management degree from the University of the West Indies.
Mustapha has been with the People’s Progressive Party from a young age as a member of the Progressive Youth Organisation.

Vickram Bharrat, 40, will likely be sworn in as Minister of Natural Resources on Wednesday afternoon.
Bharrat, who formerly served as Parliamentarian with the PPP, is married with two children, ages 16 and 15.
Bharrat was born in Berbice and attended New Amsterdam Multilateral School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Guyana.
He once worked as Technical Officer at Ministry of Local Government and Ministry of Health and as a Project Manager with the United Nations Development Programme.
Bharrat was also the chairman of the Grove/Diamond Neighbourhood Democratic Council.

Collin David Croal, former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, is expected to be sworn in as Minister of Housing and Water on Wednesday afternoon.
Croal, 41, has been with the PPP for over two decades.
He achieved a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), majoring in International Business at University Malayu, Malaysia in 2007. His first degree was in Business Management at the University of Guyana in 2000.
He was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development from December 2011 to June 2015, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs from June 2010 to October 2011 and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Legal Affairs from April 2009 to June 2010.
In Parliament, he served as the Geographical Representative for Region No.1 Barima-Waini and he also had Parliamentary responsibility for Local Government and Housing and Water.

Leader of the Liberty & Justice Party (LJP), Lenox Shuman is set to occupy the sole parliamentary seat gained by the tripartite joinder in the elections, the parties have written to notify Chief Elections Officer, Keith Lowenfield.
Shuman represents LJP, The New Movement (TNM), and A New and United Guyana (ANUG). LJP had gained the highest number of votes, of the three parties, followed by ANUG and then TNM.

The new Guyana government has promised no witch hunting. Thus the previous government's political appointment aside, one would hope that current government employees in every sector, including the foreign service, would be given consideration base don their track records and performance evaluations rather than ethnicity, political affiliation or any other unrelated criteria.One would also hope that new appointments would not see square pegs placed in round holes, especially since some cabinet appointments already provide cause for concern. Being responsive to the people's concerns must be the preeminent factor guiding governance.

Today, Ambassador Cui Jianchun of the People’s Republic of China paid a courtesy call on the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Mohabir Anil Nandlall.
During their engagement, Ambassador Jianchun, congratulated Minister Nandlall on his appointment as Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs. He also congratulated the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) on their victory at the 2nd March 2020 elections.
The Ambassador, further, thanked the Attorney General for the role that he personally played in defending the democratic process, both politically and legally.
Both the Attorney General and Ambassador Jianchun pledged to continue to collaborate and work together to advance the common interest of their respective countries.
