The New York Giants are finalizing a deal for New England Patriots wide receivers coach Joe Judge to become the team's next head coach, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Judge, 38, was the youngest of the seven known candidates mentioned for the Giants' vacancy and has been mentored by Alabama coach Nick Saban and Patriots coach Bill Belichick. He is considered a no-nonsense guy who isn't afraid to ruffle feathers with players if necessary.

you see dat there..dat is a better route to go than what Jerry Jones did in Dallas..a younger man, up and coming with loads of ability. dat is always the way to go. it does not always work out but when you do your work right and come up with the right man you have a coach for a long time

Rhule is one of the right types

The Giants didn’t even get an interview with their top candidate. What a failure.

who was that top candidate Rhule?

Rhule did not want the Gianst job. he got what he wanted.. Carolina

I think the Guiants did well. Judge fits the bill..he came out of a good school. he is young, qualified.
I dont think the Giants could have done any better.

give then a break..we will see!

well who was their top choice Rhule?
Rhule did not want the Giants job. he took what he wanted..Carolina Panthers..60 million over a few years.

Judge seems a fine choice to me: he is out of a good school, well qualified, Young. if he is as good as his school
principal the Giants are good for some years to come.

Judge is as qualified a candidate as they come. hold on man; wait up! we will see
Based on all criteria the Giants made a solid and practical choice

Why is anyone surprised by this. Look how they’ve handled things since the last SB. From forcing Mcadoo on Coughlin, not moving on from Eli, and the whole Beckham saga, it’s been a total debacle.
