If you already  knew  the answer , why the fuck did you ask me.

I play a game with all white people when they ask me what is my "background".  I'll answer, then I'll ask them/tell them "so I take it your background is Polish."  Believe it or not, most get quite offended and annoyed - especially Italians.  They'll look at you quizzically and then with righteous indignation say "are you nuts, I'm Italian!".  I guess the Poles are pretty low down on the totem pole in the Caucasian hierarchy. ::

I was once introduced to a black guy  and was told beforehand that he was canadian , born in  nova scotia . Naturally the mischiveous streak in me took over and so I asked " what part of jamaica is that " .  Needlessto say he freaked out and after  one of my friend exlplained to him that I was a recent immigrant and that  I assumed that all black people are from Jamaica did he cool down and apologised to me .
