When Kathleen Wynne first announced plans to hike Ontario’s minimum wage to $15-an-hour, she argued the increase was necessary to create “fair workplaces and better jobs.”
“Millions of workers in Ontario are finding it almost impossible to support their families on a minimum wage that just doesn’t go far enough,” Wynne said while premier in a May 2017 release.
However, in the post-truth world of 21st century politics, there’s increasingly more political payoff in feeding voters misleading, exaggerated or outright false appeals to emotion than there is in dishing out unpalatable truths.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

minimum wage is nonsense....
deh cannot and will not control the causes of price rise and inflation because that is where the rich man lives..or more precisely, lives off
and you cannot control the rich man as long s he has control of all the money. he will write the laws to facilitate his life and system, at the expense of everyone else
that being the case prices will always rise and the politically inane will always come up with minimum wages..which is always and only to placate the working classes to keep them placid not out in the streets tearing the system down
which i what is necessary to solve all economic problems..an end to capitalism and a new system focused on the total well being of society. that's it. all work must be focused on making society better for everyone. it is not the job but the human being being. all must be guaranteed the means of life from work on the development of society
that is the answer. capitalism isnt
