17 preschoolers killed

BEIJING (AP) — Chinese state media say a nine-seater minibus that crashed, killing at least 17 preschoolers and two adults, was carrying 64 people.
Xinhua News Agency says the overcrowded bus collided head-on with a truck Wednesday morning in China's Gansu province as the children were on their way to school.
Xinhua said the crash killed two adults and 17 children who were students at the Yulinzi Township Kindergarten in Qingyang city.
The news agency says that another 45 people were hospitalized, 13 seriously.

BEIJING (AP) — At least 17 preschoolers and two adults were killed Wednesday when their overcrowded minibus crashed with a truck in China's Gansu province, an official and state media reported.
The bus, designed to normally carry nine people, slammed into the truck at 9:40 a.m. (0140 GMT) in Qingyang city when the children were on their way to school, the official Xinhua News Agency said. It did not immediately give other details.
