Trinidad and Venezuela Sign Border Gas Field Deal
venezuelanalysis.com/news/5575
The “unitization of reserves” accord gives Venezuela 7.3 trillion cubic feet (TCF) and Trinidad 2.7 TCF of the Loran-Manatee field, which is estimated to hold 10 TCF.
Negotiations on developing the field, which straddles the maritime frontier between the two oil producing neighbors, stalled several times during recent years.
Trinidad lies just 7 miles (11 km) from Venezuela's most eastern point but relations between the two Caribbean nations were cool under former premier Patrick Manning, who was replaced by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar in May.
“For Trinidad, this means the continuity of their extraordinary plans for natural gas development,” Venezuelan Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez told reporters after the signing.
“Trinidad has been a pioneer in this sector for our continent, and for Venezuela this means we will be able to have access to the quantities of gas we have on our side,” he said.

indeed he is! and Guyana because of him. look at this:
venezuelanalysis.com/news/13512
Venezuela has written off Dominica’s outstanding PetroCaribe debt of more than US$100 million.
Jorge Arreaza, Venezuela’s minister of foreign affairs, said Tuesday that he had been instructed by President Nicolas Maduro to announce the move as a gesture of solidarity between the two nations.
"Due to the difficult conditions our sister people of Dominica is facing after Hurricane Maria, Venezuela announces the start of a process of short-term and long-term debt forgiveness," he said during a forum on climate change organized by the United Nations and the Caribbean Community of Regional Integration.
"This is to allow the government of brother prime minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, funds for the reconstruction of his country as well as the creation of fiscal space to access new credit," the foreign minister continued.

if BG was smart deh wud have recognized that a new day had dawned in the west indies and worked with Chqvez and now Maduro on all issues concerning BG and Venezuela.
if the process had begun long time ago. long before Tillerson get in he wud not have had the opportunity to turn it around. it wud have been too late. and he wud not have wasted time getting Granger in by rigging the Gyananan election
I warned allyuh to deal with the Chavistas. the Chavistas popularity was on the wane but deh ketch back up. allyuh lucky. but allyuh will not have it easy with the right wing opposition. those are greedy racist capitalists who have no love at all for any people of color
if it have any massive commercial oil in that land Venezuela disputes the right wing will jess move in and take it and america will protect dem from negative global reaction...the same Tillerson who set up Grange will turn on a dime and do the same for Capriles Radonski and the Venezuela right wing
