I am in awe of the looks of these 'refugees'
just the word 'refugees' makes one think of malnourished, sad and tired looking people wearing torn and ragged clothing.
remember the boat people?
not so the refugees coming to Canada now ,....... dem fat and shine and well dressed;D

These are not boat people .
These are Folk living in Camps and Tents last 4 years in Jordan and surrounding.

even so.....do you see the folks living in Madaya?
and the refugees living in some camps which they show on TV?
emaciated
no shoes
torn and dirty clothes
unwashed bodies
shouldn't we be helping those ones first?
don't get me wrong.....I know that the ones coming in now are privately-sponsored and like all the others they are seeking refuge from the war.
but those people in Madaya.....painful to look at and know what's happening to them
.
