Because what I get from it is that it's suggesting that only men exist and the woman's presence is to give men an existence. A false existence. That men are to have sex with women as to plough a field, men are above women, a man gets a double inheritance over a woman, a woman's testimony counts as only half of a man's, a wife can only remarry an ex if the new husband divorces her too, women are slaves - the sexual property of men, men may be polygamist with up to four wives, a husband can just dump an undesirable wife, husbands may hit their wives if they like, and worst of all, old men are allowed to marry little girls who ain't even menstruating yet.
I cannot imagine an intelligent civilized man not finding all of this blasphemously insulting to his intelligence and calling him out as a small toddler sized child in a man's body with no adult instincts, no inhibition against pleasures, and no kind of scruples. Literally being described as an infant who thinks that his penis is his brain. But nevertheless, women should know what's in Islam. It's literally saying that women have to lower their intelligence, strength, and morals, to let a little brattish baby rule them, which in turn gives men a false sense existence.

5. The Quran in Sura 2:230

9. The Quran in Sura 4:34
"If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great."
10. The Quran in Sura 65:1
"O Prophet, when you [and the believers] divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed waiting—period and count the waiting—period accurately . . . 4 And if you are in doubt about those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, (you should know that) their waiting period is three months, and the same applies to those who have not menstruated as yet. As for pregnant women, their period ends when they have delivered their burden."
