everyone reacts differently when faced with certain circumstances.  i know of one girl whose mom was ready to kick her out when she became pregnant at 15 .. and it was the dad who disagreed and said that that was the time when she most needed to be with a supportive family.  go figure ...


i would not blame the father, uncle or any other relative for this young woman's demise.  blame must be laid squarely at the foot of her killer.  as far as her being thrown out to the wolves is concerned, she was taken in by the catholics and others, wasn't she?  and she was also smart enough to try and get her GED ... but foolish enough not to take control of her own life.
