I always though that Odean Browne fella from J'ca was a decent spinner for West Indies ODI's.  But the man not even on the selectas radar.  Instead we have no talent ass clowns like Anthony Martin getting picked. ::

I always maintained that if Carlyle Best could have made that 80's team then so could Timur and Blacks.  But Viv had his ideas about the "makeup" of his all conquering all black team. :yeti:

No doubt.  But the ends didn't justify the means.  It created resentment and insularity which further plagued Windies cricket and which in my opinion resulted in the fast and rapid decline after his departure.

I have to admit that Viv Richards, I have very little time for. Saw him made an absolute backside of himself at Old Trafford after a farcical World Cup match against Australia which we lost miserably and I will not forget his statement about the West Indies team make up totally ignoring the contribution of non black players previously and during that time as well.

Why does he and other black people wear Ethiopian colours, and please do not tell me it is a religion?

Arrogant excuse who now licks the Indians backsides for a pay cheque.

Great batsman but simply cannot stand him in the least.
