Not all atheists are hostile to religion, but many do think that religion is bad. Here are some of their reasons:
Religion gets people to believe something untrue.
Religion makes people base the way they run their lives on a falsehood.
Religion stops people thinking in a rational and objective way.
Religion forces people to rely on outside authority, rather than becoming self-reliant.
Religion imposes irrational rules of good and bad behaviour.
Religion divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.
The hierarchical structure of most religions is anti-democratic, and thus offends basic human rights.
Religion doesn't give equal treatment to women and gay people, and thus offends basic human rights.
Religion obstructs scientific research.
Religion wastes time and money.
Thoth..Tehuti...with the Ibis head..the bird head.
he has that head because the Ibis by its long beak and discriminating attitude represents writing and intelligence..the record keeper.
Thoth/Tehuti is not half man half beast
so to Anubis with the head of the Jackal..the Judge. the Jackal kills and buries its meat..where it rots. and just at the point where the meat is rotted enough for the Jackal to eat and digest it properly, the Jackal digs it up and eats it.
so the Jackal is the greatest judge, the perfect judge, the best judge. so the ancient Egyptians gave their Judges the head of a Jackal....again a metaphor
all ancient Egyptian gods that are half human half animal are same way metaphors. nature is the template of all life, of all existence and so source of all metaphor
If you’re constantly trying to defend yourself, you’ll get distracted fighting battles that you were never supposed to fight. It’s easy to get baited into conflict, thinking, “Did you see what they said about me on social media. They don’t know who they're messing with.” Do you know how much energy it takes to try to pay people back, always thinking about ways you can convince somebody to like you. That’s spending emotional energy that you need for your dreams, for your goals.

This is very good point, it's actually why I have apathy attitude towards discussing religious issues because it's definitely bound to spill over into what one never expected. Some people take it too close to heart that it even takes their sleep away from their eyes. In as much as I believe in Christianity, I don't get myself too worked up about it. Actually through out this year, I have only been to church 3 times, one in January, one in February and finally one in this current March (LOL).
all established organized religions came from among around 2 thousand years ago. they all resemble feudal kingdoms with a huge homosexual sensibility and image.
God is the king..and god has a son, a perfect young man and no mother around. they have a holy spirit not the mother, father and child which is the original African image of creation. there can be nothing without man and woman in relationship with the children they produce
Plato the 'great' Greek philosopher's perfect human relationship is between a mature man and a young boy. that is what is meant by a 'PLATONIC' RELATIONSHIP. PLATONIC RELATIONSHIP MEANS AN OLDER YOUNGER MAN-BOY HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP..NOT A SEXLESS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MAN AND WOMAN
SO THE HEAVENS OF ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY ARE HEADED BY THE FEUDAL KING, WHO MAINTAINS AND RUNS A FEUDAL KINGDOM REPLETE WITH FEUDAL BUREAUCRACY.
ALL ORGANIZED RELIGIONS ARE EXPLOITATIONS. THEY WERE ALL CREATED FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF THE CONTROL AND EXPLOITATION OF THE VARIOUS POPULATIONS WHERE THEY ORIGINATED

Methink this is all Man made situations : Religion is merely a guide to a Lifestyle.
Man misinterprets and does the above quote !

exactly!
the original African mythology is based on nature itself..how nature works. that is why from the start they made no religion. nature is the truth, natural..made all so all is nature. nothing is sectarian, separate and distinct , better than any other and exceptional.
gos is everything that exists. god is in everything..God is all. there is no separation, no creations better than other creations. and all such spring from the notion of GOB who is different and qualitatively comparable among them all. the god of the greatest conqueror is the best god for he has beaten all the other gods.
so the dominant god becomes the greatest and exceptional god who made his creations superior as they have won.
that is the universally divisive crap that flows from the idea of a creative god.
the genius of the ancient africans is that they never set the basis for that crap. the made the template for life, the constitution of existence nature itself..so there is no room for any division among SheHe or SheMan
