However, Australia have fared better against left-arm orthodox spinners at home. Over this same period, when playing at home, Australia have averaged 46.85 with an economy rate of 3.76 and strike-rate of 74.7. The wickets per innings also drops to 1.43. This just goes to show how bad Australia have struggled playing spin in the subcontinent in recent years.
