Quote:Tyler Durden: One month ago, when looking at the latest Canadian official international reserves, we noticed something strange: Canada had sold nearly half of its gold reserves in one month. According to the February data, total Canadian gold reserves stood at 1.7 tonnes.
That was just 0.1 per cent of the country’s total reserves, which also include foreign currency deposits and bonds.
As we noted, the decision to sell came from Finance Minister Bill Morneau’s office.

they broke
[/quote]
nah..if yuh broke doh make it worse by giving up your gold. how does that solve anything at all ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
the only explanation for that action is if they are really puppets to the Bankers..and they are..and they have been told or ordered to sell off their gold . such action helps the bankers and really puts Canada under duress into the far future.
so it seems to me.
if Canada is broke there is one immediate ansah that solves everything..literally overnight. and that is to take back the Canadian currency from the bankers, and print the Canadian currency as they shud, at no interest, for infrastructure development and begin to rebuild canada.
they would spend into the economy real dollars of solid value that would stimulate the economy..if at the same time the fraudulent debt already accrued is repudiated, written off..while the banks, insurance companies, finance companies, credit cards are all brought into regulation, their interest rates cut right down.
at the same time also the government should write off all student debt, make education all the way free...also write off all credit cad debt. mortgages will be a lil more difficult but mortgages also must be reorganized to make them less onerous on the people
that's the answer captain..the only positive answer that exists..the only way out.
Giving up Gold to control Forex rates for the Canadian dollar and to quickly and painlessly pay a bit of the foreign loans is not a bad idea.
But, considering that most countries including Germany are trying to repatriate their gold, from? Canada and US, I think this move might be a play to further delay giving back gold to Germany and other such countries.
No matter what Financial experts say, Gold is still the best bet for countries. That's why countries are heading back to gold. Oil and Gold - the only real currencies in the world.
