Identity politics - scapegoating different minorities, religions or "races" - is a waste of time.
Pining for a "racially purer country" because "impurities are the cause of all domestic problems", is likewise a waste of time. It's the same form of nostalgia and scapegoating which led to everything from Naziism to Irish-bashing to the wiping out of the "real" Native Indians of Guyana.
Places like Guyana and Trinidad alternate between blaming Indian and African governmental leaders. When one group fails, they vote in the other. When that fails, they vote in the other. Sometimes they try out coalitions. Sometimes they court black votes, sometimes they court brown votes. Sometimes they blame fiscal problems on incompetent blacks, sometimes on sneaky, money stealing Indians. All of this is a waste of time.
The most "ethnically pure" country in the world is Japan. It has the largest debt to GDP ratio in the world, a 16 percent poverty rate and most of the population is too depressed to make babies.
Even if Guyana was the wealthiest, sexiest, most amazing nation in the world, filled with racially pure uber-Indians, with sexy brown skin, long black hair and giant swaying Dravidian dicks, complete with beautiful balls bigger than a Bombay buffalo, not to mention sultry Indo-Guyanese women-folk, with nothing but curry, Kama-sutra and roti on their brains, it will still be a waste of time. Workers are inherently not paid enough money to ever buy back the products they create/work they do. So slowly your national debts escalate whilst somewhere a large chunk of your population goes broke, and gets screwed and blamed. You will probably call them ugly, half-caste Indo-Guyanese.
