so do most Guyanese.
it is highly recommended that this Sura be read, if possible, to someone who is about to die.

my retiree has memorized the whole sura and often reads parts of it when he leads me in daily Salat.

Our  Holy Prophet (on whom be peace) said :

"My heart desires that Surah Yaseen should be present in the heart of everyone of my ummah "


I prefer Ayatul Kursi 

no surgery is required for me -
