* Now! If Shiv plays the next test versus England and the 2 in June versus Australia, and if he scores 6 ducks in the likely 6 innings he will bat in, his average will fall to 50.39

BOTTOM LINE:

* Shiv's remaining goal in test cricket is to surpass 11953 and then take a stab at 12,000.

* He needs 112 runs to surpass 11953 and 158 runs to reach 12000

* In Shiv's last 3 tests he has scored 9, 50, 46, 13, 1 and 7 = 126 runs

* So if Shiv continues to produce as poorly in his next 3 tests like he has in his last 3 tests---he will at least surpass 11953

* SHIV CAN THEN RETIRE IN PEACE.
