Racial abuse, race baiting. This is a multi-racial and multi-ethnic community and that reality must be respected. Derogatory references to any race, or race/ethnic/religious based insults are not acceptable.

its obvious that my belief in free speech wont work.

i have had racists come after me with chains
i have had racists try to get me fired with blatant lies

and tens of them more

so those who think i am blinded to racism are dead wrong.

It's very easy to get carried away with spewing hurtful words, but we must develop the strength and patience to handle things that happens all of a sudden and not get more carried away. Racial slurs should never be made or tolerated.

It's just that some are overly sensitive.

A good forum should have controversial topics and comments. There's so many that limit speech due to over sensitivity and I think that's what spoiling forums and causing them to fall out of favor.

Regarding comments being made in the Shout Box:

I don't think Wulfman should be banned. I think some of what he said constitutes hate speech, and that he really 'believed' some of it, but I don't think he should be banned.

I think you should start a thread titled NOW SAY SORRY AND DONT DO THAT AGAIN, and force Kwami, Wulfman, Ketchim and I to appologise to one another. This thread will provide vital community bonding, or more hours of humerous conflict. Either way, it is win-win.
