Listen, over the weekend I heard from one of my cousins that she was still fasting for Navratri.  I asked her why...she said the pandit said she should still fast as he was too busy to perform her puja with so many pujas on his schedule!

I laughed so hard!!! 

These are the kind of crap that screw up religion!  That pandit is now making up his own rule..put God on hold until he schedule accomodates it!!  ::LOL:: ::LOL::

Organized religions prey on the ignorant and vulnerable.  Look at that Imam in the video.  As soon as a he was made to answer a tough question about his religion and faith he squirmed and tried to weasel out of it.

And that is the point about reason and rationality.  If we as human beings use our powers of reason and rationality many, if not all, of these religious superstitions and beliefs can be jettisoned and cast aside and we can finally look at each other as equals and as human beings.
