Not true that his allergy was Lillee and Thomson. At least no more true than it was any other bats mans allergy. Rowe made 107 in first test against them. His 175 against Lillee was one of the best innings you could ever see. He was hit by Lillee and had to retire hurt at Sabina Park when WSC came to WI but made a hundred later that same series.
