Colin Croft talks about the problems that might arise for the West Indies following the departure of coach Ottis Gibson six months before the World Cup starts
On Croft.....I accept any change can create uncertainty especially wher players are used to a certain model.
In the longer term whether a Coach is required or not is a slightly different issue.
So I agree with Crocft to the extent it could be disruptive.
However between Richardson and Pybus I cannot see a problem as long as you have the supporting coaches and Captain who can plan together and ensure they have a coordinated plan and one for each player as appropriate.
I think the players would be happy to see the back of Gibson.
Let us put it like this....they cannot really do much worse.
Ramdin has a big role to play here and we have seen empowering him has made him a better player. He just needs to keep an ey on his keeping, his primary role.
