That's sad news. Dhoni seems to be the only person who seems to be consistent in his performance. But as a captain, he should be able to get the same level of consistency from his team, which apparently he has failed to do so fro some reason. But this seems to be a matter of players not performing well, maybe the team has to changed instead.
DHONI SHOULD RESIGN THE CAPTAINCY AFTER THE DHOTI BAIS WHIP THE WOEFUL WEST INDIES.
eh heh! Lloyd on board now in a relevant cricket role and Gibbo gorne. if deh bring no coach, leave it like it is with the captain back in charge we could be back in bizness. India wun have it so easy
I pity him for what he has been going through. He has led the team in 58 Tests with a record 27 wins. They have lost every other away test series under him.Its probably time, that someone else steps in to this role, but the options seem limited.
Who can be the potential replacement for him..?
I don't know if I should say anything or not as nothing is going to save Indian team if they don't start to get serious about cricket. It's not like home everywhere.
no need to pity Dhoni. there are these ebbs and flows. its all good in the end.
Dhoni has been a magnificent player and cricket figure. as long as he plays he will be India's captain..the natural fit. if he chooses to leave now its up to him. he has done a fine job over a long period. no matter the state of Indian cricket at the moment Dhoni cant be faulted and f he goes he will be celebrated.
I am not Indian but as a fan of the game I have a say. I got no problem with Mahendra Singh Dhoni at all
Well no. India has done despicably bad overseas - they've suffered humiliating losses. And technically they have a much more competent team (in relation to the other teams) now. His tactical skills has been sometimes downright appalling.
Although I doubt changing captain is gonna magically work out well or anything tbf.
