Well no. India has done despicably bad overseas - they've suffered humiliating losses. And technically they have a much more competent team (in relation to the other teams) now. His tactical skills has been sometimes downright appalling.

Although I doubt changing captain is gonna magically work out well or anything tbf.

It never will work, because the new captain, whoever it is first has to rein in his horse, build a rapport and then learn new tactics, manage according to seniority. All these can be handled by one who has at least had exposure as a vice captain, and that being VK..and it is too early for him and he can self-destruct if he goes the wrong way..

Ultimately,it all falls back in MS hands and he rule the roost again...
Pheww..This is going to be a big drama..

Dhoni has led from the front. I would back him to carry on as the skipper

I agree ......... no need for him to quit at this time !!!

Certainly don't want 'hot headed' Kohli as successor ......

Well they have to groom someone for captaincy sooner or later. I guess VK is the next candidate.

Also - it doesn't have to be so. See how Amla was given test captaincy all of a sudden out of nowhere? And Smith himself was given captaincy at a very young age. Hell even cook wasn't properly groomed or anything.

So yeah it's not that big a deal - not that I'm calling for Dhoni's resignation or anything obviously.

Dhoni us going nowhere but he was tactically gaumless this series.

That said you need wicket takers.

I really don't know how to defend this now..Tongue
YOu have struck it perfectly..
So,who do you think is the apt replacement for Dhoni..?
Vk..??
If ever u had thoughts abt Gambhir..pls forget it,he can't even make it to the squad..

yeah, this is misleading. Dhoni is not going anywhere for sure. At least till the next world cup. he has the full backing of the selectors and even the public at large. Yes, our performance is nothing to write home about but there is no other alternative. Just by changing the captain the quality of the bowling or batting will not transform overnight.
