Oh crap, sincere apologies.

On de WI tour of India in 2011 - 2012 Bishoo bowled 137 overs for 436 runs and 7 wickets.

I could have sworn dat he only tek 3 wickets - de man is a wicket taking bowler even though each cost 62.29 runs and he get a wicket every 20 overs.

Oh ok. Me not an aficionadi but I going to try and learn from all dem aficionadis what dey bout.

Bishoo along with Ramnarine and perhaps Jaggernauth have been the worst mismanaged bowlers of recent times.

Bishoo was over bowled and mismanaged. He was seen as the messiah and they burnt him out. Leg break is a match winning art and it takes time to become the finished article. Bishoo has the attitude and now he needs another chance where he would be managed well.

In fact I would have him ahead of Benn.

Bishoo did bowl well in the recent 4 day competition and I believe he had a 7for or 8for in a single innings.

Benn is the only spinner I can recall to have had such a long run. Shame Bishoo was not even in the training squad.

Let's take a closer look at what Bishoo did in the recent 4 day competition:

Match #1
Jamaica at Kingston
Guy 117 and 264
Jam 274 and 89 for 3
1st: 30 overs 2 for 82
2nd: 3 overs 0 for 16

Match #2
Barbados at Providence
B'dos 184 and 186
Guy 140 and 94
1st: 17 overs 1 for 28
2nd: 21 overs 5 for 71

Match #3
Windwards at Providence
WI 307 and 114
Guy 213 and 171 for 7
1st: 21 overs 1 for 44
2nd: 11 overs 1 for 21

Match #4
CCC at Bridgetown
Guy 263 and 173
CCC 391 and 51 for 3
1st: 35 overs 3 for 95
2nd: 1.3 overs 0 for 9

Match #5
Leewards in Antigua
Bishoo did not play

Match #6
Trinidad at Providence
TT 294 and 212
Guy 282 and 80 for 3
1st: 38.4 overs 9 for 78
2nd: 22,4 overs 6 for 71

So 15 of Bishoo's wickets came in Guyana's last game of the season and he performed better at home than away.

For Guyana:
Permaul had 29 wickets at 17.79
Bishoo had 28 wickets at 18.39

For Barbados:
Benn had 37 wickets at 15.45
Nurse had 32 wickets at 18.16

Benn and Nurse played 7 games. Permaul and Bishoo played 5

I know seeing as me is not an aficionadi.

But de last time me see Bishoo bowl in India (and that was what a couple of years) I did not see him posing too many problems for the Indian batsmen.

I contrast that with the last tour of India when Shilly was flexing well and really causing problems for the Indian batsmen.

But you cannot depend on one bowler to bowl to bowl you to victory - every bowler has to chip in.

Now me hear de commentators say dat Bishoo rarely bowl de googly and me look (after me check to see what a googly is) and me nah see he bowl one. So me say to meself dat he have to try and get one so dem batsmen cant take and mek dem eye pass he.
