The comparison of Pietersen and Shiv is like comparing a cucumber with a Peach....really.
I am no Shiv fan but objectively he commands a place on merit, weight of runs. Yes he is getting to a point where others will consider he should retire. Misbah is older and is doing an equally excellent job for Pakistan.
From what I see, Shiv is fit, hungry and he applies himself in building innings.
I have always said the team comprises 11 players and it is for them to perform in their way and allow Chanderpaul to,play his game.
I really think calls for Samuels' omission would be more apt.
