* In 14 tests Shilly has taken 65 wickets

* That's an excellent 4.64 wickets per test

* Great bowlers usually average 4 wickets per test.

* Shilly's doosra is like a secret weapon----he doesn't use it often----it gives batsmen something extra to think about.

* If Shilly can no longer bowl the doosra his productivity(wkts per test) will suffer.

Erm, I don't know what this has to do with my post, but I don't disagree much with any of this. I'm questioning your claim that he's doomed to mediocrity if he's banned from Doosra. I clearly said "obviously it'd be a big blow if they ban him from bowling the doosra, but he's still good IMO." FYI.

It's very simple! If Shilly is allowed to bowl the doosra he will continue averaging 4+ wickets per test---that's excellent. But if he is banned from bowling the doosra, then he will likely take around 3 wickets per test. That is ordinary.

WHO WILL HELP RESCUE SAMMY ?

[Image: 170701.jpg]

* Remember folks! A WI loss in the 3rd test and Sammy is history.

* So who will help save Sammy's career ?

* Will it be mystery spinner Narine ?

* WHO ?

"As a die hard West Indian it frustrates me to no end seeing West Indies 40 overs in on the 1st day

with the tail in already.

I wonder who gets fired/dropped after the tour completes ? "
