What do Americans think ?

For the first time since 1974, more than half of Americans say the US should "mind its own business" with international affairs.

This is according to new findings by the non-partisan Pew Research Center and Council on Foreign Relations poll,

America's Place in the World, conducted every four years of both the general public and opinion leaders. 8)

Their survey also found that many American foreign policy concerns are closely intertwined with domestic issues such as jobs and energy.

One area where Americans do support more international involvement is in strengthening economic partnerships across the globe.

Protestors are calling for a federal minimum wage rise :

to $15 per hour, up from the current $7.25

                     

but when that happens half of them will lose their jobs.

Is there any empirical evidence of this?

Or is it just more right wing capitalistic bullshyte that a minimum wage that keeps up with inflation will cause the demise of Murica?
