"India have two quality spinners and although cricket is a funny game and anything is possible, West Indies just don't have the technique to battle the challenges. Gayle and Chanderpaul are struggling and it is unlikely India will bat again," said VVS Laxman to NDTV on Friday.

Last chance for that 11 K ...
The Shivster better get a good night rest :
and make an offering at the local temple

* Don't be surprised to see the Shivster end up 30 something NOT OUT. ;D
* The West Indies is 100% guaranteed to lose this test---so there will be zero pressure on the batsmen---they just have to go out there and do what they do best---GET OUT. ;D

Gayle and Samuels are a comfortable Jamaican tandem.
BUT the small matter of 78 for Shiv ..

Ketch:
There were two things I was hoping for in Wankhede test match:
* I wanted to see Sachin at age 40yr 206 days get a hundred in his final test match.
* I wanted Shiv to score a total of 103 runs to reach 11,000 test runs.
* Well, Sachin came close---but he missed out on the hundred---he only scored 74
* Shiv has scored 25 of the 103 needed in the first innings---hopefully he can get the other 78 tonight.
Whatever happens tonight---whether Shiv makes a duck or those 78 runs he needs to reach 11,000----the Rev is happy for him---the man got to 150 tests---I saw Shiv bat in his very first test match(on TV)----he scored 62 at Bourda in 1994---I never thought he would one day reach 150 tests and average a remarkable 51.89---the Tiger exceeded all my expectations.
