MILTON — Pole dancing has changed Shannon Skura’s life.
The 21-year-old Meadowvale resident used to be a shy introvert but through pole dancing she's emerged as a confident woman who finally feels comfortable in her own skin — not that she’s about to reveal too much skin to the public.
“Nooooo,†said Skura, who makes it clear that not all pole dancers are exotic dancers. “Sure, some pole dancers do, but for me, it’s about the artistry.â€
Just six months ago, Skura started training at Milton’s Brass Angels Pole Dancing Studio.
