BlackMediaScoop) Motorbike taxi driver Sok Thoeun wanted to “teach his 13-year-old son a lesson” after spotting him in an internet cafe in the northern Cambodia town of Battambang playing online games when he should have been in class.

40 year old Mr Thoeun was so outraged he decided to “teach his son a lesson” by publicly humiliating him by chaining him by the neck to a thick wooden powerline pole.

Mr Thoeun, who also beat his son, is now wanted on child abuse charges. Cops there say he remains on the run.

Some parents in a town near me actually did this a few years ago. They left their 12-year-old son outside all night long. I think their excuse was that he got in trouble at school for bullying. Those parents got into trouble over child abuse, and the authorities were called in. People really do not think, do they. This child was suffering from exposure, as I recall. It was cold weather.
