Williams' crimes outlined in lurid detail

A shocked courtroom listened in disbelief Monday as disturbing details of the odious crimes of Russell Williams were read after the disgraced colonel pleaded guilty to more than 80 charges, including two of first degree murder.

The Belleville, Ont. court heard that Williams' first crimes were burglary, where he would steal women's lingere, which he would often take photographs of himself wearing. Court also heard he would take photographs of himself wearing the underwear or clothing of young girls. In many cases he masturbated inside the homes and took photos of his erect penis, all trophies catalogued on his home computer, court heard.
As the lawyer read an agreed statement of facts into the court, reporters were allowed to cover the proceedings live from smart phones, thus lurid detail after detail was outlined live on websites, including Twitter. Although images were not allowed to be transmitted, details of their contents were. Court heard that Williams took thousands of images of himself, in one example he wearing nothing but a the skirt of a 12-year-old girl.

Girls younger than 18 were targets in 13 of the homes he broke into. In one instance, he took photos of a 12-year-old girl’s underwear drawer and masturbated on her bed. He also modelled lingerie and took photos of himself.

As family members of victims looked on in tears, Williams, 47, pleaded guilty to two first-degree murder charges, two charges of sexual assault and confinement, and more than 80 counts of break, enter and theft, the latter related to a string of fantasy-driven crimes in Ottawa and Tweed, Ont., during which lingerie, underwear, bathing suits and shoes were taken from bedroom drawers and closets.

When will it end?

Each incident seems more perverse from the last, to the point where it gets difficult to describe in a public forum.
Finding a pair of pink and green striped panties in the bedroom of a 15-year-old girl with apparent blood stains, sends him into a frenzy.
He takes 70 photos of himself smelling, wearing and licking the panties.
12 more of him soiling them.
Despite being subjected to dozens and dozens of previous pictures, this set drew loud gasps from the public gallery.
