i am going the very healthy way this year....

broke my fast with one date and a very tall glass of water

last night i started out with a nice colourful salad (since i usually eat salad for lunch every day i actually miss it a lot)
while i was eating my salad hubby got my dinner......one piece bbq chicken, small portion of channa and small portion of rice.
finished it off with some fruits... honeydew and canteloupe melons, grapes and cherries.

that was it for the night for me.....but i did drink a bottle of water during Tarawee prayers.

Our Mosque start Isha at 10:30!
we pray 8 rakahs Tarawee every night and by the time we get home i don't get in bed until 12:30!!

then i wake up at 3:25 again for sahur!

my biggest challenge?.....lack of sleep!

last night i made sardines with whole wheat roti.

i still had mediterrian couscous from the other night.

vegertarian meatballs....phoularie[sp]

ice'n'glass with milk.

Mind you...all this stuff is made...but I cannot eat all of it.

we have like 15-20mins to eat, clean up, pray maghrib and then go to mosque for Isha at 10pm...1015pm is Dars...and then Tirawi....

we have always done 8 tirawi and 3 witr.

i get home in just enough time to watch the last 15mins of Sarawati Chandra and then pass out.

then up again at 3-330 for sehri....pray fajr and go back to sleep.
