Tim Southee returns to the New Zealand squad to boost the pace department ahead of the second Test against Windies at Seddon Park, Hamilton starting from December 9. Southee had taken a break from his New Zealand duties for the birth of his first child and was replaced by George Worker, who now has to make way for the 28-year-old pacer.
Worker as well as Lockie Ferguson were released from the squad to facilitate their participation in the Ford Cup games starting Wednesday (December 6). Ferguson is expected to join the squad ahead of the second Test.
