46 - 2
Stumps, day 3 : Sri Lanka trail by 3 runs.
1.5
Chase to Dimuth, oh no, it looks like Karunaratne ! Mayers run quickly towards the ball, picks it up with his right and fires down the stumps all in one motion.
Karunaratne run out (Mayers) 6 (9m 10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 60
14.3
Chase to Fernando, is that another run-out? Blackwood throw arrive at the keeper's end and he whip the bails off to leave Oshada's dive in vain
Fernando run out (Blackwood/†Da Silva) 14 (50m 41b 2x4 0x6) SR: 34.14

Not only was this a rare rain-uninterrupted day in this series, it was an extended day with sufficient drama squeezed in. They call it the moving day for a reason. It started with the Windies having their noses ahead, went onto them consolidating it further in the first session, to Ramesh Mendis clawing Sri Lanka back into the contest with the second new ball, to Kyle Mayers batting decently with the tail to get a pretty vital 49-run lead. The biggest, and perhaps the most crucial moment though, were those two Sri Lankan run-outs before wiping out the deficit, both to non-existent singles. On a pitch that clearly isn't the easiest to survive on, and is only going to get tougher, tomorrow's first session with this semi-old ball could hold the key. We'll be back building it up nice and early tomorrow, and until then, ta ta!!
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

That is stumps, day 4 : A marathon day for both sides in a way.
Sri Lanka started the day at 46 for 2
they finish it off with a decisive lead of 279
with two wickets still intact. West Indies will be wondering what went wrong
after a good start to the day, although you could claim that the pitch
has eased out as well, which is very unlike Galle.
Dhanjaya DeSilva unbeaten 153 and a stand of 107 for the ninth wicket.
This partnership has completely deflated the West Indies.
They have tired the bowlers and the luck is with the hosts throughout.
DDS should've been caught on 5 runs but keeper DaSilva messed up
DDS should've been caught again but Warrican messed a skier.

328 - 8 after 101 overs
Permaul 39 overs, 100- 3,
DeSilva 153*
Dhananjaya de Silva 5 (14)
34.5
Permaul to Dhananjaya, ooh, dropped! Tough chance for the keeper
DDS was right back, looking to cut one that wasn't quite wide enough.
Thick edge and big deflection. Turned less than expected, and hit the shoulder
of the bat and then bounced off the tips of Da Silva's glove
