Solozano struck on head : SL vs WI 1st Test

West Indies debutant Jeremy Solozano was taken off the field on a stretcher and transferred to a hospital from the Galle Stadium in an ambulance
for scans, after being hit on the helmet while fielding at short leg .

Karunaratne 132* ... struck the front of his helmet

Not a great way to start the series for West Indies
who have managed just three wickets on the first day.
Blackwood dropped Dimuth early for which his side paid the price
with their problems further multiplying after losing two reviews
and debutant Solozano to a blow on the helmet.

on the leg-side, got it the middle and bang into the helmet
of the ducking short leg fielder.
We are hearing that the rear part of the helmet has come off.
The players, umpires are waiting anxiously as the sub fielders
rush in with a bag of drinks
