This is a phenomenon, a capacity to concentrate and play the ball impossibly late
that can be attributed to his early years, when his father cut a rough, bumpy strip in a field
for his son to practise on
which he did diligently against all-comers for hours.

the leg side with the ball going between bat and trouser.
Extra bounce once again and another faint edge off the inside edge of the bat.

Mohammed not as assured in his shot making against this one.
Stabs at it in the corridor , offers a passage in and the ball kisses the inside edge first
before tonking the stumps

I would go with soft hands on the forward defence...
the green spot on my diagram pic above..
cause if it gonna hit my trousers at 142 kph

Bat came down at too much of an angle. He appeared to play across the line and gave himself a slimmer chance of making full contact. Seen Ramdin get out in similar manner a few times
