I think it has to do with sponsorship. Women's cricket matches do not receive attention like the men's cricket because they are not a lot of companies willing to sponsor the games. So the earning or revenue is not as high as men's games.

In my opinion cricket is still a male dominated sport and women have just entered this sport which is not that long ago. So the same public interest and fan following cannot be expected at this stage, I totally agree they deserve all the support and cheer for their hard-work towards this sport, but it would not happen overnight. It will take some time for them to get a huge fan following and finally, when the people around the world starts following their matches. This woman's world cup season has been worth watching and England rightfully won the cup they deserved for their performance.

There is still gender inequality in the world. Most women were raised in a way that they feel they are inferior to men. This is why women wouldn't believe in themselves and try some of these things. But I am glad the world is changing and ladies can participate in some of these sports that they couldn't before.
