The problem with you is you are very insular.
Now if I had to objectively compare Hetmeyer and Pooran, the former would come out on top for technique and if I had to back one to succeed in the longer format it would be Hetmeyer.
Pooran reminds me of Hughes, a bit better, but his hand eye coordination is imperious. In terms of physical stature he rem Nds me of some of ten Pakistanis, particularly Misbah. He generates a lot of power but I feel his game can improve.
I am happy for Hetmeyer to prove me wrong but the Guyanans have not produced a batsman of note since Ramnaresh and Shivster.
It is possible the selectors have not handled them well but guys like Fudas and Chandrika in particular I thought had something about them, particularly the latter.
