West Indies Cricket Board must stop acting as if this is the 30s, when the region’s cricket was administered by an old boys’ club, cloaked in mystery and dogged by controversy.

Lines of communication is superficial and will be very, very short lived.
The WIPA, WICB is indistinguishable sine Hines sold his members down the swanee!
I believe he conducted himself like a Chief Executive and was not a media whore like his predecessor!
If he has in fact got the WICB back into recurring financial balance, eradicating the underlying deficit then I would like to know how he has done that in such a short space of time, given the underlying position, in year deficits and the emerging $42m owed to their masters, The Indians.
My estimate is that on a recurrent basis, he would have had to have generated new income, cut costs to the tune of c. $30m to maintain recurrent financial balance and in that four year period generated a surplus of $120m (includes the $30m) to discharge the underlying position including the Master's debt.
I would like to see the audited accounts.

The Wilkins report needs to be implemented, fully..
www.windiescricket.com/sites/default/fil...Committee-Report.pdf
This includes rationalisation of the structure and being more transparent. This is what I expected Muirhead to have done.
The Director of Cricket has made some ground breaking changes, apropos the professional setup, but no other innovations have taken place and he should make way.
I am still of the view that the business arm of the WICB should be outsourced.

But even if he did Krish, that is an element of income not received thus making the in year and underlying deficit worse.....
And he talks about surplus...
Also they have sold the CPL to the Indians so their revenue stream, and thus brand, is eroded.

It would not be surprising it would have made that especially with TV rights, sponsorship etc but even if it did not make that amount the series would have been used to wipe out the £24m irrespective of the revenues generated.
