This win showed another side to this England tream. They really dug deep after being put under the kosh thanks to a fiery spell from Irfan. There is no doubt in my mind that 18-months ago England would have crumbled to defeat.
This match also showed England's incredible depth with Bairstow and Stokes playing pivotal roles with the bat and Rashid and Mo ripping Pakistan apart.
I felt bad for Irfan. He has struggled with his fitness throughout his career and asking him to come into this match having played just one T20 match since April was asking too much.

Yeah, but their quicks are overly tired .
They should get some rest in time for West Indies :-[

I believe it was Nasser on commentary that raised a very good point. England have done a great job in trying to build a specialised ODI bowling attack. This allows their seam bowlers to remain fresh and rested.
As they haven't been a part of the Test side this summer, Wood, Plunkett, Willey and Jordan are all as fresh as a daisy. Woakes (and Stokes to a degree) is the only seamer to have pulled double duty this summer, playing in both the Test and ODI sides.
As Ketchim mentioned upthread, Imad Wasim continues to impress, although I think both he and Sarfraz bat too low down. Pakistan are going to need to go through a major overhaul similar to the one that England have just gone through - though I would certainly look to build around Imad and Sarfraz.
