Well, it looked like Cook knew precisely what he was doing. He and Root are piling on fast runs. I haven't seen Cook with a strike rate of a 100 in a long time.

Enforcing the follow on is entirely going to be down to the captain and those in the pavilion and I think there's always a risk that people are going to say that the wrong decision was made. As the image shows, the follow on being enforced 50% of the time kind of bares that out as well I think and it really is a split decision.
