That is why I said above!
Quote...
Why do you persist in quoting out of context?
Quite silly really.
Does anyone actually think that Richard, Lloyd or anyone else can solely make their calls without Cameron's input?
The answer is no and hence the Coach speaking out.

Yes. and Pybus is refusing to relax the policy.
I already mentioned above the Sunil example that shows he is non flexible.
Your own answer to your own question clearly display you are clueless !

Where was the Coach to speak out when Sunil was a day late ...
Pybus is NOT lax or amenable to going soft on a Policy Manaul
I already quoted him above on the 2nd post.
stop being immature !

It still does not address your persistent selective quotations out of context.
If someone was unaware of what I wrote they would clearly think I am in favour of no play no selection!
Now focussing on the selection issue...
Coach Simmons almost lost his job when complaining of external influence and although he subsequently reneged, it was clear from that incident and other incidents that the WICB is not run in a proper governance framework and there are external influences.
Lloyd backed Simmons' position because he clearly knew of these external influences so why should these external influences not pertain to other officers of the WICB, including Richard.
If you genuinely believe anything happens at the WICB without Cameron rubber stamping then you are quite mistaken but welcomed to that view.
You need not provide chronology because yes he was wheeled out when Cameron wanted him to take the bullet.
Where was the Coach when Narine arrived one day late? Remind us. Who knows if he said anything privately, he may not but did you want him to go public? Not even sure if he was insitu.
In my view it, arriving a day late, was pedantic but cannot remember the reason why he was late.. I think he may have been waiting to play a final for KKR.
Perhaps Richard used his tardiness as an excuse to drop him because of the consensus on his chucking?
Rules are the rules so whilst they exist they have to be complied with and in the case of selection the rule need to be more sensible. I believe many of us are saying the same thing.

Every reader know your are sitting on the Fence.
Its not about YOU : its about your "Richard" and the various problems he has caused.
From last summer Sunil dropping (and stop being an apologist re" knew about chucking"
to the e mail that caused walk out ( again stop being re " take a bullet")
to now this (stop sitting on fence )
the guy if I was to believer your faith in " MAPPIPPEEE" as a REAL West Indian :
is a SABOTEUR....tmMapoui

This situation is a bit complicated. Yes, we may see where like in football some players are on perennial club duties away from their country, yet they are selected to represent their countries in international games. The problem that prevails with West Indies Cricket, however, is that almost all the top players are always out of domestic competitions abroad and when they are home many of them find a way to opt out of domestic competition, therefore, the local youngsters have no real means of developing their talent by playing against or alongside meaningful competition.

That is solely for T20 duties and they are selected for the T20 International team.
However I suppose they also play in the West Indian T20 League.
The question is would you select those T20 itinerant players for Tests?
I do take your point about football but it is just one format.

explorer7 . yes : everyone is aware that was the BASIS or PREMISE for the policy
what is being asked now is that " it NOT be cast in stone"
The director Pybus must NOT use the policy as "inflexible"
It is a NEW situation that need some "outside the box" thinking.
and as T20 moves forward may NEED a whole different Squad .
