Quote Zacaroni
[color=rgb(26, 26, 26)]"I don't think he is Trini-Centric as you call it. All of those he mentioned were chosen originally. It's not as if he's pushing for more players from TT who can't make the side. And do you not think players like Narine and Simmons would've made the side better?"

Someone sensible can clearly see the point without much effort.
I do not think, Bishop, any other cricket fan or pundit would advocate an illegal action from anyone so it is a tad crass for others to suggest otherwise.
The Windies team in India is a good one as they demonstrated against England, but for example england would be stronger with Broad or a fit Finn.
As you, quite rightly said, the player to which Bishop referred were selected and amongst the best available as are evident in their demand for international tournaments.
I agree with Bishop as Simmons would have been a better option with Gayle as he has proven.
Bravo has a good T20 record and Pollard is amongst one of the most innovative cricketers around and I think it is he who pioneered the knock back ball from over the boundary. Again he is also in great demand internationally.
So I do not think the bias is coming from Bishop rather the poster making spurious allegation.
If the replacements were of the injured players stature they too would be in demand internationally. However those present in the squad now have an opportunity to enhance their reputation and best wishes to them.
Are there any Guyanans in the T20 squad? If not why not?

Well Bish could NOT mention those names to me as the "be all and end all"
He would have left my interview with an Educated rationale.

Andre Fletcher
"As the ball got older it became harder so I just tried to bat through.
Chris is my mentor in T20 and before I went in he said I would have a big day
so I want to thank him for that confidence. But I don't think anyone can take his job.
The bowlers did their job and the batsmen had to finish it. Good to have another win.
We are all as one, unity and strength. We don't want to get complacent
and will play each game as a final." ..

Yes.
a group of guys trying their best out there and DELIVERING !
Bish has all these FLOWERY descriptors for guys NOT in the squad
Current names are "chop liver" :
"Now, I am not filled with the same confidence.
Sunil Narine's absence leaves a significant and incomparable void
A fit Kieron Pollard's charisma and all-round ability whether batting, in the field
Lendl Simmons' skill and experience is also going to be missing because of injury.
Darren Bravo's form with the bat in the 2015 edition of the CPL..."
